Cindy Helfman brings her criminal law litigation background to the practice of Matrimonial and Family Law, merging an aggressive litigation style with creative lawyering to secure winning outcomes through negotiation, trial or appeal, as the case requires. Extensive experience with pensions and other retirement benefits, marital assets of critical importance in divorce, has given Ms. Helfman special expertise in this complex, little-understood area. Ms. Helfman is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as in New York, making her particularly well placed to deal with marital assets located in these jurisdictions. Ms. Helfman is a graduate of Brandeis University (1983) and Rutgers Law School (1985). She can be reached via email at chelfman@msn.com
